Worship with us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
When you enter our building, you will notice the warmth of the people. Greeters will welcome with a worship bulletin at the sanctuary door. All of our services feature scripture reading, preaching, prayer, and music. You will be invited to stand, sing, pray, greet your neighbor, be in silence, or read responsively.
The Lord's Supper or Eucharist is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Our communion table is open. All are welcome at God's feast because scripture tells us Jesus never turned anyone away from table fellowship with him.
Each Sunday we end our worship with a blessing and sending forth because the reason we gather together is to be sent out again into the world, refreshed in spirit and inspired to become more like Christ
What kind of music can we expect?
We sing a variety of musical styles from classic church hymns to contemporary choruses, from new as well as more traditional music. Our hymns and songs are accompanied sometimes by our pipe organ and sometimes by piano.
Except during the summer, our adult choir usually will sing an anthem. Occasionally we will have soloists or instrumental music.
Please consider joining our adult choir. Rehearsals are at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evenings in the music room (downstairs in the education wing). The adult choir sings three Sundays each month.
Do children participate in the whole worship service?
Children are present for the first part of worship on the second through fourth Sundays. After the children's message, they leave for our "Bible Tracks" Christian education classes. On the first Sunday of each month, they stay in worship for communion. Children are encouraged to receive the bread and cup.
Do you have childcare during worship?
Childcare is available from a paid nursery attendant for all Sunday services. We offer a warm and welcoming nursery for children under the age of four. Parents sign their children in and are provided with pager to take into worship.
Weekly Scripture
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. (Ephesians 2:19-21)
